What is Greek Get Down?
Greek Get Down is a sorority-wide philanthropy event dance competition designed to benefit our national philanthropy, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Fourteen different University of Texas Panhellenic sororities have created unique performances for this event. Every chapter has choreographed a 2-minute to 3-minute hip-hop dance for 20-30 girls in their chapter to perform. Special guest judges from the UT and Austin community will watch each dance, deliberate, and choose the top three performances. Additionally, dance organizations from the UT community will appear as guest performances. The winners will receive a portion of the money raised to be donated to their chapters’ national philanthropy organization. AEPhi will not be competing in the show, but will perform a dance to close the event. |
